Another unforgettable day.
We started the morning with chocolate hearts and with some tasteful baked plate and quickly we stud into the row for entering the Uffizi gallery. It is much different to walk through it when you know something about the certain artist and his work. We visited most of the Florence last night, but we wanted to see everything by day. So we went by route Uffizi - Palazzo Veccio and Piazza della Signoria - Piazza della Repubblica - Santa Maria del Fiore - Palazzo Medici Riccardi - Basilica San Lorenco and then back to the Ponte Veccio and so in circle all day long.
We visited some second-hands also, and there only Italian designers clothes are sold and the prices are 100€ +, so we took a look at the bal dresses and detective rain coats.
Then we were late for the last train for Venice, and then for the second one, and when we finally got there they told us that we don’t have proper tickets because bike can’t fit in. The next one was at 04:30.
So we slept a little on the station and when they threw us out (together with all homeless people and their dogs) because of closing the station then we slept at McDonald’s across the street (together with all homeless people and their dogs). At 4 o’clock we returned at the station and the train was there. We had one hour pause at Bologna and then finally arrived to Venice at half past nine. Because the man where we supposed to stay dumped us by not sending his address, we found the camp where we could arrive in 5 minutes by bus. A horde of tourists was in front of us. We found some our way to Saint Marco’s square instead of drawn tourists route, and our final destination was Biennale. By the way we drank Spritz cocktail and ate rubber candies, and then proceeded to Giardini.
We arrived pretty much late so we hurried our tour. In the return was already dark and we froze. Luckily, On our way to the station we were surprised with kind spaghetti to take and they warmed us.
Soon we arrived to our tent and now, wrapped in our sleeping bags, we are trying to figure out that today was our last day in Italy.
It’s been too fast
Tomorrow we go to Vicenza, and then home.
